Ratty's Retreat

Ratty’s Retreat is a romantic cottage for 2 in the pretty Cotswolds village of Blockley. A refurbished barn made from local stone; it provides all the modern facilities for a self-catering holiday, whilst retaining all its original charming features. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and lots of walking trails that you can enjoy together.

The open plan living area has floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the room with natural light, a Freeview TV, DVD player, iPod Dock and leather suite; as well as a dining area and a galley kitchen. The comfortable double bedroom area is located up a spiral staircase in the mezzanine, with a beautiful beamed ceiling and en suite bathroom. There is a small patio outside with bistro set and car parking. Guests also have access to the communal garden which leads down to a brook.

Blockley is a peaceful village with its mill stream winding its way through to the bottom of the valley. The village green overlooks the popular bowling green and beautiful Norman church. There is a shop and pub in the village with many National Trust properties, gardens and castles nearby. Moreton-in-Marsh is about 3 miles away.
