Barncastle & Barncottage

Barncastle is a stone barn built in the grounds of a former medieval castle near Stroud which has been lovingly converted and elegantly furnished to provide a comfortable self-catering property for up to 10 guests. The adjacent Barn Cottage is available separately and can cater for 4 people.

Inside Barncastle are exposed wooden beams and honey-coloured stone walls providing much charm and character. The first floor lounge has high vaulted ceilings with comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove in the inglenook fireplace and an oak floor. The ground floor has a bedroom, dining hall with wooden gallery, kitchen including a dishwasher and a utility room. There are also 3 bathrooms, a twin bedroom, 2 double bedrooms and 2 king size rooms 1 has an en suite facilities.

Barn Cottage is on ground floor level. It has a light and airy sitting room with dual aspect windows, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, double and twin bedroom. Each property has its own outside seating areas and plenty of car parking. You can find many shops, bars and restaurants in either Stroud or Painswick which are a short drive away.
