Marden Down Holiday Cottages

Marden Down Holiday Cottages are nestled on the edge of the village of West Marden, 8 miles from Chichester in the South Downs National Park. Our cottages, which can be booked together, are Gardener's Cottage and Stable Annexe. We recommend that guests drive to the cottages, which have plenty of off-road parking. We are a 5-minute drive from the A3(M) and M27, close to Chichester and Petersfield.

Each cottage sleeps 4 people. Gardeners Cottage was originally built as gardener’s accommodation by Lord Durham who owned and lived in the manor house next door. This AA 4-star rated cottage offers very comfortable living with a lovely south-facing garden. Stable Annexe is equally as comfortable and well-furnished and boasts a large conservatory that will comfortably seat at least 6 people.

The Victoria Inn, our village pub, serves a selection of beers and excellent food and is only a 3-minute walk down the hill. A small shop and tea room, playground/tennis court, The Coach and Horses Pub and church can be found in Compton, less than a mile away. A little further away, but within easy driving distance, are Portsmouth and Chichester, with plenty of attractions and amenities for all ages and interests.
