Bryn Marlais Cottage

Dating from the 18th century, Bryn Marlais is a 4-Star rated self-catering cottage sleeping 4 guests plus a cot, set within 9 acres of grounds on the edge of Brechfa Forest. The garden has a pond, variety of shrubs, seating areas and plays host to a range of bird and wildlife. There is ample car parking space.

The cottage is a self-contained annexe of the owners’ home. It is centrally-heated and comprises a lounge/diner, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and a double bedroom, twin bedroom and a cloakroom on the first floor. There are stone walls and exposed beams and the cottage has a stone fireplace with log burning fire.

Facilities include Wifi, a TV, DVD player and CD player. There are a selection of books, DVDs, CDs and board games for guests. Laundry facilities are available in a separate building, which also contains some exercise machines. A welcome pack is provided for guests booking Bryn Marlais for a week or more.

Families with small children are welcome. We have a cot, highchair, baby monitor, baby bath, stairgate and children’s plates, bowls and cutlery. Cot linen and towels are also provided. There are toys and a swing and sand tray outside. The orchard area has a trampoline and plenty of space.
