Vineyard B & B

Welcome to The Vineyard B & B on Mersea Island along the Essex coast, with an on-site vineyard, tea rooms and a brewery. Close to sandy beaches and surrounded by 11 acres of land, this is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Mersea Island, famous for its oysters, lies between the estuaries of the Blackwater and Colne rivers and is reached by a tidal causeway.

Our rooms are well-appointed and centrally heated, with en suite facilities, a television, radio alarm clock, hairdryer and hospitality tray for making hot drinks. There are double and twin rooms with a full English breakfast included in our room rates, so you can have a good start to the day.

You can buy our wines, gins and real ales to take back home with you. Maria’s Vintage Tea Rooms is open 7 days a week for delicious morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea, with freshly made cakes and desserts available. The Vineyard can also host your wedding or special event.
