Birds Farm

Birds Farm have 5 well-appointed cottages offering excellent self-catering holiday accommodation near Elmstead Market, a few miles from Colchester. Awarded a 4-Star Gold rating by Visit England, all our cottages are family and pet-friendly. Surrounded by tranquil countryside, the farm also features an on-site swimming pool.

Carefully renovated from former farm buildings, each cottage is equipped with modern amenities, whilst retaining their original wooden beams and vaulted ceilings. Robin is a ground floor cottage for 2 with a king / twin bedroom. There are 3 two-bedroomed cottages for 4 guests including Swallow and Partridge which are on ground floor level, and Plover Cottage. Pleasant is single storey and can accommodate 6 people in a double, a twin and a room with bunk beds.

Our outdoor pool is open during the warmer months and there is a games room with toys, board games, table football and a pool table. There is also a laundry room, communal courtyard with outdoor seating and a barbeque area, plenty of car parking and you can enjoy the many walks and trails around the farm.
