The Original Huts Company

For a back-to-nature experience in the East Sussex countryside, The Original Hut Company in Bodiam provides excellent glamping accommodation and facilities on family-owned Quarry Farm. Our Shepherds Huts and Tin Tabernacles have been hand-built by owner Nick to offer comfortable and eco-friendly accommodation within a small secluded woodland.

Sleeping 4 or 5 guests, each hut is equipped with a log burner, sink, gas hob, cutlery and basic kitchen utensils. There is a dining table that converts into a double bed and a day bed which converts into bunk beds. Outside there is a fire pit, table and chairs where you can enjoy al fresco dining. Washing, showering and toilet facilities are provided in a shared wash hut close by.

Our Tin Tabernacles are basic timber huts with tin roofs which contain futon sofa beds for 2 and have covered seating areas outside. There is car parking on-site and you can camp in our woodland area. Enjoy countryside walks, cycling or fishing on the river. A hamper of locally-produced ingredients can be delivered prior to your arrival.
