Alfriston Gardens

The English Wine Centre would like to present The Oak Lodge Hotel near the historic village of Alfriston. Situated in the picturesque South Downs National Park, guests will find comfortable guest rooms, tea rooms, a wine shop and tastings. Under new ownership in 2019, we are excited to show previous guests what changes we are making and welcome new guests.

There are 5 well-appointed bedrooms in The Oak Lodge; all recently refurbished to give them a fresh contemporary feel. Each has its own en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, Freeview TV, Wifi and refreshments. There are double, king, twin rooms and a wheelchair-friendly twin room with wet room and improved access. Breakfast is included in our room rates and you can also enjoy tea and cake in our tea rooms.

Our gardens were designed by Chelsea Flower Show 2016 Gold Winner Juliet Sargent and guests are welcome to explore them at leisure. We can also offer wine tastings by prior arrangement, facilities for weddings, conferences or special events.
