The kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering stay and includes a dishwasher and washer / dryer. There is also a king size bedroom and a twin room, both with TV. The bathroom has been fitted recently and has a freestanding bath and walk-in shower. There is a small garden with a picnic table at the front of the cottage.

There are plenty of good restaurants, pubs, cafes and coffee shops close by if you want to eat out. Explore ancient Rye Castle’s Ypres Tower before climbing the bell tower at 12th century St Mary’s Church for views across the rooftops. Mermaid Street is beautiful with its cobbles and half-timbered houses. The town is just 2 miles from the sea.
