The Merchant House

The Merchant House is a welcoming boutique-style bed and breakfast offering stylish guest rooms along the attractive and bustling Poole Quay. A Georgian Townhouse close to the bistros, restaurants and pubs along the water’s edge, it provides a great place to explore the many attractions of the town.

Our rooms are always immaculately presented, with en suite facilities, a double bed, LCD TV and beverage tray. In the morning, your host David provides a cooked breakfast, served in the dining room. There are options for vegetarians, vegans and other special diets. Guests will find free parking near to the house.

Take a soothing boat cruise from the quayside, visit the heritage museum or go shopping in the town centre. There are also the beaches at Sandbanks, golfing and wonderful walks in the New Forest and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, all just a short drive away.
