Lawn Cottage

Lawn Cottage is an attractive 18th century country property offering bed and breakfast accommodation and a glamping shepherd’s hut on the outskirts of Shaftesbury. Surrounded by open countryside and with excellent hospitality from owner June, guests are assured of a relaxing and comfortable stay. Children and dogs are welcome and the cottage is also suitable for the less able.

There are 3 guest bedrooms, all with complimentary toiletries, Wifi, TV and a well-stocked beverage tray with tasty homemade biscuits. There is a double/twin room and a room with bunk beds on the ground floor, both with en suite facilities. The upstairs double bedroom has a private bathroom. Breakfast will be cooked on the Aga stove in the morning with fresh organic ingredients. Homemade granola and preserves are also served.

For a more back-to-nature experience, our shepherd’s hut offers the perfect setting for 2 people. Equipped with a comfy double bed, wood burning stove, free Wifi and outside fire pit, this is an idyllic setting where you can wake up to the sound of bird song coming from just outside.
