Demeter Cottage

Demeter Cottage is a quirky former fishermans cottage tucked away in the historic White Horse Yard in the old part of Whitby town. Hidden up some steps in a cobbled courtyard, it offers a quiet location but is still only a couple of yards from the shops, restaurants, bars and beach. With a mix of old and new furnishings, you can enjoy a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing break.

Spanning 3 floors there is a cosy sitting room with living flame gas fire, Freeview TV, DVD and iPod dock; modern fitted kitchen with washing machine and a coffee machine. On the first floor, there is a bathroom and a twin bedroom and on the top floor, there is a spacious attic room with king sized bed and wonderful views across the town towards the sea. We will ensure you have a welcome pack on your arrival to help you settle in quickly. Dogs are also welcome.
