Broomfield Barns

Broomfield Barns are 2 characterful converted barns nestled within the grounds of Broomfield House, 4 miles outside of Congleton. Surrounded by open countryside and woodland, they provide a perfect bolthole for exploring Cheshire and the surrounding area and just a 3 minute drive to Clonter Opera theatre. Clonter is ideal for small and large weddings,conferences and all musical events.

Both barns have retained original exposed wooden beams and vaulted ceilings. There is ample car parking. Barn 1A can accommodate 5 or 6 guests, with a living room featuring open fire, sofas, snooker table, TV and dining area. There is also a small well-equipped kitchen, ground floor double bedroom, twin room/triple and a single room on the first floor, a shower room and a bathroom. We can provide supper with Lasagne and 2 salads and a pudding for £25 per head. Shopping can be arranged, Turkey bought and prepared for roasting.

This friendly holiday accommodation is less than five miles from Goostrey, Congleton and Holmes Chapel and close to the historic town of Knutsford. Manchester is just 40 minutes away and Manchester Airport is just 17 miles away. The Clonter Theatre is a three-minute walk from the accommodation and offers a packed and varied programme of entertainment – from music of all genres to comedy acts.

Guests can also enjoy a wide range of attractions and activities in the nearby area, including golf, horse riding, Capesthorne Hall and gardens, Rode Hall and gardens, Arley Hall and gardens, Congleton Museum, Astbury Mere Country Park and National Trust Property Little Moreton Hall.
