Pennine Country Cottages comprise a variety of traditional cottages located in the beautiful North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A friendly and family-run business based in the town of Alston, we guarantee to find your perfect holiday home based on our local knowledge.

All of our cottages are individual, with original charming features and all of the modern amenities you will need. There are a range of cottages available, from romantic cottages for 2 to large farmhouses catering for 10 people or more. Some offer secluded settings and there are town-based properties too. You will also find family and dog-friendly cottages.

There is so much to see and do in the Pennines, including walking and cycling, with the famous Pennine Way and C2C cycle route crossing the area. There is also fishing on the various rivers and lakes, as well as excellent golfing to be found. Historic sites to visit include old mining museums, heritage steam railways and there are also grand stately homes and gardens aplenty.
