High Dale House

A warm and friendly place to stay, High Dale House Bed and Breakfast offers comfortable guest rooms, a delicious breakfast and car parking. Conveniently close to the many shops, restaurants and pubs in Ambleside, Lake Windermere is also within walking distance. Walkers and cyclists are welcome and this B & B is dog-friendly.

Each of the guest rooms are individually-named and have king size or zip link beds that can be arranged as a super king or twin beds. Cots can be provided and one room can be arranged as a triple. Rooms all have en suite shower facilities, luxury toiletries, bathrobes, hairdryer and a hospitality tray.

High Dale has a designated Breakfast Room where guests can chat and enjoy a perfect start to the day. Our dishes are prepared using the best of locally-sourced ingredients. Other services at the B & B include arranging champagne and / or chocolates in your room for special occasions.
