Clarks Hill Farm

Clarks Hill Farm have 3 self-catering holiday cottages situated on a family-owned farm outside the village of Gilsland. Located in a secluded setting, just 2 miles from Hadrian’s Wall, each cottage has been sensitively converted from a stone barn to offer luxurious self-catering accommodation, with original rustic features including beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. The cottages are equipped with TV, fully-fitted kitchens and have car parking. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement and there is also stabling for horses.

The Fauld is a cosy cottage for 2 with a double bedroom, private garden and hot tub. The Joinery is a beautifully presented cottage for 2 to 4 guests with a large open plan living area featuring a sofa bed and triple aspect windows. There is a double bed in the mezzanine and the old machinery can still be seen attached to the roof struts. The Ostlers is an attractive stone cottage catering for 4 to 6 guests. It has a double and a twin bedroom up the spiral staircase to the attic space.
