Haytongate Barn Self Catering

Haytongate Barn is a beautifully-renovated stone former barn situated in a commanding position on Hadrian’s Wall Path near to the pretty Cumbrian village of Lanercost. Offering views of the surrounding countryside and North Pennines, this self-catering property for 4 guests has car parking and secure bike storage. Lanercost Priory and tea rooms are within walking distance and there is fishing on the River Irthing nearby.

The barn has characterful vaulted ceilings and stone walls. The focal point of the cottage is the lounge area with leather suite, TV, wood burning stove, dining table and 2 sets of open wooden stairs leading to the upstairs areas on both sides. The kitchen is fully equipped, including washing machine and dishwasher, and a dryer can be found in an outhouse. There is a shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs in the property, there is a twin bedroom and a room which can be set up with a king size or twin beds as required. Outside is an enclosed lawned garden with patio, barbeque and picnic bench. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Initial logs for the wood burner are also provided.
