Orchard House Bed and Breakfast

Orchard House Bed and Breakfast is a charming 18th century Grade II listed building situated on Hadrian’s Wall in the beautiful village of Newtown overlooking the village green. Just 10 miles outside of Carlisle, it offers a quiet and scenic place to stay for walkers, cyclists or travellers preferring a more rural setting whilst visiting the city or surrounding area.

There are 3 attractive bedrooms, all named after trees in the orchard. The Bramley Room is a spacious room overlooking the village green with a double bed and en suite bathroom. The Cherry Room and The Damson Room both have private bathrooms, with the former offering a double bed and the latter a twin room. All bedrooms have a TV, Wifi, hairdryer and hospitality tray.

A tasty full Cumberland breakfast is served in the morning with fresh local ingredients and our own home-made preserves. Guests are welcome to sit in the gardens and we can arrange lifts to and from the local pub / restaurant. There is ample car parking and the airport is only 3 miles away.
