Hillside Farm Bed and Breakfast and Bunk Barn offers a scenic place to stay along the Solway Coast at Bousted Hill. A mid-19th century farmhouse adjacent to the Hadrian’s Wall Trail, it is perfectly placed for bikers and hikers looking for a restful stopover. Just 8 miles outside of Carlisle, we are also a popular choice for short breaks and holidays in the area.

The 2 bed and breakfast rooms are based in the main farmhouse and have been given a Visit England 3-Star rating. They have retained many of the original Georgian features including high ceilings, large windows and decorative fireplaces. There is a twin and double room with Wifi, beverage tray and stunning views across to Solway Firth. They share a private bathroom and a guest lounge. A delicious full English breakfast is included, made from local ingredients including eggs from our own hens.

The Bunk House is a converted stable providing a comfortable place to sleep for up to 13 guests. There is heating, a toilet, shower and small kitchen with dining area. Breakfast can be provided with prior arrangement. There is secure cycle storage and guests can also leave their cars on the farm whilst walking the trail.
