Borrowdale Hotel

The Borrowdale Hotel is an elegant 19th century Lakeland stone building, nestled in a scenic valley just 4 miles south of Keswick. A Victorian-era former coaching inn, our guests enjoy excellent hospitality, comfortable accommodation and fine food. The hotel is AA 4-Star rated, with an AA Rosette awarded restaurant.

All rooms are beautifully furnished, mixing classic sophistication with modern style. Each bedroom has en suite facilities, luxury toiletries, a TV, access to Wifi, a hairdryer and drinks tray. There are single, double and Prestige Rooms which offer the best views in the hotel and a seating area. Dogs are allowed in some of the rooms.

The hotel’s award-winning restaurant has a walk-in wine cellar and is open for hearty breakfasts, Sunday lunches and evening dining, where guests are treated to traditional silver service. There is also a lounge, conservatory and the gardens for informal meals and afternoon tea.
