Derwent Bank Hotel is a grand country house with 41 bedrooms on the edge of Derwentwater near Portinscale, with lake views, beautiful grounds and plenty of car parking. Bedrooms are in the Main House or there are 8 Garden Rooms. Each includes Wifi connection, a TV, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and hospitality tray. Many have panoramic views of the lake or gardens and first floor Garden Rooms have their own glass balcony. There is free Wifi throughout the house and communal areas in which to relax. There is also an Eco Pod for those wanting to sleep under the stars.

Walkers’ facilities include a Boot Room and Drying Room, route guides and maps. Guests can choose from a variety of activities including walks, arts, cycling and wildlife-watching.
