Lena’s Cottage

Lena’s Cottage is a beautifully-converted stone barn offering a 3-bedroomed self-catering holiday home on Newby End Farm in the scenic Eden Valley in Cumbria. Located 9 miles outside of Penrith it offers stunning views across the valley to Cross Fell and is a scenic place to enjoy a peaceful away break. It is available for people bringing their own bedding and towels, and the modest price of £20 per person, per night, includes the use of the microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge.

The cottage is all on one level and has an open plan living area with a beamed ceiling, wood burning stove, comfortable seating, dining table and kitchen area. There is a twin bedroom, room with full-width bunk beds and a third room with full-width bunks and walk-in shower. There is also a family-sized bathroom and a separate WC.

There is access to free Wifi, a washer in the wash house and ample car parking. Freezer space is available on request and pets are allowed by prior agreement.
