Cottages Made for Two at Ellen Hall provide a choice of 7 beautifully-converted former barns offering comfortable holiday accommodation, nestled between the Lake District and Cumbrian coast, 11 miles from Wigton and providing a perfect hideaway for couples. The cottages are dog-friendly.

Each cottage has unique charm with beamed ceilings, comfortable furnishings and scenic valley views. All have access to Wifi, a fully-equipped kitchen, modern en suite facilities or bathroom and car parking. Some cottages have use of a hot tub.

There are paths leading straight from the door of the cottages, and within a 10 to 15-minute walk, the village has a local pub serving great food in the evenings and weekend lunchtimes, and also a bar and restaurant serving equally good food evenings only, with a great value take away menu. Also in the village is fly fishing.

Cockermouth, a bustling market town and the birthplace of William Wordsworth, is only a few miles away and Keswick is less than half an hour's drive along Bassenthwaite Lake. Less than 3 miles from Ellen Hall is the Cumbrian coastline while Carlisle, Hadrian's Wall, and Scotland are all within easy reach.
