The Farm House

The Farm House at Rowling End is a fantastic and recently-refurbished 4-bedroomed holiday home with a luxurious wood fired hot tub. Sleeping up to 8 guests, it is located in the beautiful Newlands Valley, only a few miles from the market town of Keswick in the Lake District. The house is one half of a single property. The other half called Catbells View is also available to let and can be booked alongside The Farm House for larger groups.

The spacious lounge features a warming wood burning stove, comfy seating and windows with glorious views of the surrounding countryside. The kitchen is well-equipped including an oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker and a dishwasher, plus a dining table / chairs. The utility room includes a washer, tumble dryer and space to store wet clothing and boots, or to store bicycles. There is also a downstairs toilet.

The house features 2 super king size double bedrooms (including 1 with an en suite bathroom), 1 twin bedroom and a bunk room suitable for 2 children. The bathroom has a bath and overhead shower. Guests will find a TV with satellite channels, DVD and Wifi. Central heating, linen and parking is included. EV charging is also available. Dog-friendly, canines can stay at The Farm House free-of-charge, but are not permitted in the bedrooms.

There is a pub within a mile and more amenities in the local village of Braithwaite, 3 miles away. Nearby Keswick offers independent shops, restaurants, inns and arts centres. Derwentwater is only a short walk away, with spectacular views across to the Borrowdale Valley.
