The Dairy House

The Dairy House Bed and Breakfast in Chaldon Herring is a charming stone property with lots of character. This pretty village is a few miles from the beautiful beaches along the Jurassic Coast and famous natural landmarks including Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Car parking is available.

Owners Joanne and Jeremy offer a warm welcome and excellent hospitality, with well-appointed attractive guest rooms. Dogs are allowed. A full English breakfast is served in the morning, including their own fresh eggs and bread, as well as other locally-sourced food.

Chaldon Herring (also called East Chaldon) is just inland from the coast and only 2 miles from the village of West Lulworth. A pick-up and drop-off service is available for walkers by arrangement with the owners. This B & B is also near to a popular local walkers pub, The Sailors Return, which serves evening meals.

Please note that we are closed for the winter, except for Coast Path walkers and will re-open mid March. Minimum stay at weekends is 2 nights.
