Stainsborough Hall and its 5 holiday cottages provide superb self-catering accommodation within 15 acres of tranquil gardens and countryside, on the shores of Carsington Water, with direct access to the traffic-free trail around the reservoir. This is a peaceful location near to the market town of Wirksworth in the Derbyshire Dales.

Set over 3 floors, the beautifully-refurbished Stainsborough Hall sleeps up to 20 people plus 2 infants. There are 2 living rooms, a spacious kitchen, dining room, utility and boot room. There are also 10 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms with underfloor heating and a games room with a pub-sized pool table. Outside is a large garden and terrace.

Derwent, Dovedale, Henmore, Lathkill and Summer Cottage are located around a courtyard, each with a private entrance and terrace area. These well-appointed cottages have either 2 or 3 bedrooms, with 3 also having a ground floor bedroom. There are log burners in all of the properties and pets are welcome in the cottages only.

Guests are welcome to explore the 15 acres of grounds, play a game of tennis on the private court or relax in the games room. The area is popular for water sports, horse riding, walking, cycling, climbing and bird watching. Local attractions include the Heights of Abraham, Matlock Bath, Ashbourne and the Peak District National Park.
