Gwerniago Campsite

Located at the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park, Gwerniago Campsite is Visit Wales 3-Star rated and situated on a family-owned farm on the edge of the village of Pennal. Surrounded by the wonderful scenery of the Dyfi Valley, it provides a quiet and interesting setting for all ages and interests. Dogs are welcome.

Touring caravans, motorhomes and tent campers are all welcome. There are hardstanding and grass pitches available, with or without electric hook ups and seasonal pitches for regular visitors. The toilet and shower block is free for guests use has a family room and a disabled bathroom, there is a washing up area, small kitchen and phone charging points, fridge and freezer that can be used free-of-charge. We also allow campfires.

The area is ideally suited for walking, cycling, mountain biking and bird watching. Nearby is the RSPB nature reserve at Ynyshir which offers tours of wildlife in the area. The Dyfi Osprey official viewing point is only 15 minutes' drive away and Dyfi Bike Park and the Centre of Alternative Technology are close by, with beautiful beaches and restaurants available at Aberdyfi along the estuary.
