The Shippen

The Shippen is a stone-built holiday cottage offering self-catering accommodation in the estuary town of Fowey. A single storey converted former barn with beautiful exposed stone walls, wooden beams, scenic views and a Visit England 4-Star Gold Award, it provides a perfect holiday home for 4 to 6 guests. Dogs are welcome too.

The cottage is very comfortably furnished with a sofa bed, Freeview TV, DVD player and electric wood burning effect fire in the living room; as well as a fully-fitted kitchen including a dishwasher and washing machine. There is a double bedroom, twin room and family bathroom. Wifi is available throughout the cottage.

Enjoy al fresco dining in the private garden with its outdoor furniture and also use the shared garden area with children’s play equipment. There is sailing, canoeing and other water sports available along the river and many lovely walks along the coast or in the surrounding nature reserves. Short breaks can be arranged.
