Welcome to the oldest pub in Fowey. The Ship Inn was built in the 1570s by the adventurer John Rashleigh and still offers a friendly place to stay for travellers in the heart of this traditional Cornish fishing town. Eat fresh food, sample local ales and stay in one of our comfy guest rooms and you won’t be disappointed!

There are double, twin and the family room for 4 with a domed ceiling, double bed and bunk beds. All have access to a private bathroom, toiletries, TV, Wifi, hairdryer and beverage tray. A complimentary breakfast is served in the morning, with a choice of full cooked English, vegetarian or pancakes also available.

The Ship’s menu makes use of fresh seafood coming into port and produce from local farms. Catering for all tastes, we offer British classics, with options for children and special diets. Drinks include Cornish ales, great wines and real coffee. There are also nooks and crannies in the bar to enjoy a quiet drink after a long day.
