Layside

Layside Bed and Breakfast is situated on the edge of Northumberland National Park near Hexham. Offering boutique-style accommodation with stunning views across Hadrian’s Wall country towards Sycamore Gap, owners Sophie and Kevin offer a warm welcome and excellent hospitality.

The well-presented bedrooms are in the purpose-built garden lodge; each with patio doors opening out to the private terrace, en suite shower room, luxury toiletries, either twin beds or a double bed, dining area and stunning views. Dogs are welcome with prior arrangement.

In the morning, a delicious breakfast is delivered to your room. Evening meals can also be provided. There are also various drinks on sale including locally-brewed beers to enjoy in the comfort of your own room. Car parking is available, and we also welcome walkers and cyclists.
