Thornley House

Thornley House is a beautiful country house offering bed and breakfast accommodation near the village of Allendale, 7 miles outside of Hexham. Visit England 4-Star rated, surrounded by well-maintained gardens, we welcome all pets if they can get on with our 3 resident cats!

There is a twin en suite room and a double room with private bathroom which can be arranged with a twin or super king size bed. Both have a TV and beverage tray. There is also a guest lounge where you can meet the cats. Guests can wander around the landscaped gardens which are part of the National Garden Scheme.

A hearty breakfast is included and we can also arrange evening meals and packed lunches. There is ample parking, and we are only 15 minutes’ drive from Hadrian’s Wall. Allendale itself is a picturesque Northumberland village in the beautiful East Allen Valley with local shops, tearooms and pubs.
