The Garret

The Garret Restaurant, Rooms and Café Bar is set in an attractive Georgian-era townhouse with a spacious outside area, on the High Street of the bustling harbour town of Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway. Family-run, we support sustainability by using high quality and ethically-sourced produce and by reducing our carbon footprint.

All of the 8 guest rooms offer comfort with contemporary style, including original artwork displayed on the walls. There are single, double, twin and family rooms to choose from; each equipped with en suite facilities, a TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and hospitality tray. An ironing board, clothes brush / shoe cleaning kit, hot water bottle, writing materials and reading books are available on request.

The breakfast menu includes favourites such as traditional Scottish porridge, a cooked breakfast, vegetarian / vegan option, eggs-how-you-like or locally-smoked salmon and scrambled egg. We serve food throughout the day at The Garret and sample menus are available to view online, where you will also find any special offers or deals. Offers are only available through our website.
