The Marks is a 16th century farmhouse bed and breakfast, situated 4 miles outside of Kirkcudbright. A Visit Scotland 3-Star rated establishment nestled on a working dairy farm and surrounded by open fields and countryside, this is a scenic and peaceful place to stay. Owners Sheila and Chris offer a warm welcome.

All B & B rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with a double or twin beds, hospitality tray and a decanter of Scotch whisky. Guests can also relax in front of the roaring log fire in the study or drawing room and outside in the garden during fine weather. A full Farmhouse breakfast is included in your stay and evening meals can also be provided if required.

There is ample car parking at The Marks. The farm is located along the National Cycle Route 7 for cyclists and the surrounding landscape is filled with opportunities for all kinds of outdoors activities. Kirkcudbright (pronounced kir–coo–bree) is a fishing port with a pretty harbour, plenty of shops, places to eat and other amenities.
