The Waterhouse Retreat are 2 luxurious eco cabins nestled in one-and-a-half acres of grounds and gardens just 3 miles north of Kirkcudbright. This accommodation is perfect for romantic escapes, naturist holidays or people who enjoy the great outdoors.
The Waterhouse sleeps 4, hand built from locally-sourced sustainable building materials and featuring a living green roof, electricity from solar power and heating from a biomass boiler. It has an open plan living room and kitchen, opening out onto the raised decking area, a double bedroom, bunk bedded room and shower room.
The Boathouse is a timber-framed wigwam cabin for 2 people which can only be exclusively booked alongside The Waterhouse for larger groups. It has a double bed, en suite shower, small kitchen and outside decking area. Guests can enjoy the waterside hot tub, al fresco dining area and beautiful natural gardens.
