Lower Nunton

Lower Nunton is a traditional detached cottage nestled in a beautiful rural setting overlooking Kirkcudbright Bay, near the village of Borgue. Full of character with beamed ceilings and stone walls, it also has all the modern amenities for a comfortable self-catering holiday. Awarded a TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Award 2020 it provides an ideal holiday home for up to 6 guests.

The cottage is all on ground floor level. The living room provides a cosy place to sit, with a wood burning stove in the original stone-brick fireplace, sofa, armchairs and a comfortable window seat with views across the bay. There is also a kitchen with dining table / chairs, plus a double bedroom, twin bedroom, room with bunk beds, bathroom and separate shower room.

Outside the cottage is an enclosed garden providing a safe area for children and dogs to play in, with patio furniture and a barbeque for alfresco dining. Ample car parking is available and there is a sheltered beach within walking distance from the cottage. Kirkcudbright is 3 miles away with its shops, restaurants and various leisure facilities for the whole family to enjoy.
