The Lantern Pike is a welcoming 18th century country pub with guest rooms and a restaurant situated in the pretty Derbyshire village of Hayfield. Ideally placed near to Kinder Scout and many national walking and cycling routes, we provide a restful place to stay for people touring the Peak District National Park.

All 5 bedrooms are well-appointed and named after local landmarks. Each is equipped with en suite facilities, a TV, hairdryer and beverage tray. Choose from Lantern Pike and Black Hill which are both twin rooms, Bleaklow and Mam Tor which are doubles and Kinder Scout Room with its beautiful 4-poster bed.

A delicious breakfast is served in the morning, with a wide-ranging choice including a cooked full English, smoked salmon or continental-style breakfast. The bar and restaurant are open for lunch and dinner, including vegetarian options and a children’s menu. Easily located off the A624 road, the pub has ample free car parking.
