Acorns Caravan Park

For a quiet and scenic place to stay in the Cheshire countryside, pitch up at Acorns Caravan Park, a Camping and Caravanning Club Certified Location situated along the Whitegate Way, just 3 miles outside the bustling town of Winsford. Owners Doris and David are delighted to welcome walkers, cyclists, couples and families to their small, friendly site.

There are 15 pitches available for caravans and motorhomes; each with their own electric hook-up. The site has a children’s play area, chemical disposal points, with provision for caravan storage if required. Dogs are allowed on-site. There are plenty of fishing sites and nature reserves in the local area and the Oulton Park Racing Circuit is nearby for racing days and events.

A former ‘salt town’, Winsford has many shops, pubs and restaurants, a riverside marina and the area’s most famous attraction, the 3 lakes known as the Flashes. Chester is only 14 miles away where ancient Roman walls surround the centre, which along with the Cathedral, Eastgate Clock, and Roman Amphitheatre demonstrate the city’s ancient heritage.
