Bull I' Th' Thorn Campsite is situated in the grounds of a 15th century pub in the village of Hurdlow, within the Peak District National Park. Easily located off the A515 road and 6 miles outside the spa town of Buxton, in an area popular with walkers and bikers, it provides a central location for exploring the many attractions of the area.

The pitches are spacious, accommodating tents and small campervans. All are on a grass surface, with some offering 10-amp electric hook-ups. There are free toilets and hot showers, a washing-up area and various drinking water points situated around the site. Families and dogs are very welcome at Bull I Thorn.

Although the pub is currently closed, guests can enjoy the delicious meals served at our sister pub, The Royal Oak, just 15 minutes’ walk away. The national walking and cycling routes, the Tissington and High Peak Trails run close by, and Buxton Raceway is a short drive away for those who enjoy something more adrenaline fuelled!
