Cothill Barn and The Stable are 2 charming 18th century dog-friendly holiday homes nestled in Herefordshire’s Golden Valley, just 12 miles west of the county town of Hereford. Each one full of rustic charm, with all the facilities for a luxurious self-catering stay, the properties provide panoramic views across open countryside towards the Black Mountains. There is also glamping accommodation available.

Cothill Barn sleeps 8 to 10 guests and features a cosy sitting room with exposed stone walls, a snug with double sofa bed which can be used as an additional sitting room or a fifth bedroom, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen with long dining table, utility room, 4 bedrooms including a master room with handmade wooden bed and an in-room roll top bath; plus a gallery for quiet reading and reflection.

The Stable sleeps 4 to 6 guests, with a comfortable living room featuring a dining table, plus a kitchen with a breakfast table, utility room, a spacious master king size en suite bedroom and twin room. There is additional sleeping in the adjacent shepherd’s hut. Both cottages have wood burning stoves in the living rooms, modern bathrooms, large enclosed gardens and car parking. There is also a 1940s caravan and bell tents for glamping.
