The Jack and Jill Inn

The Jack and Jill Inn is a friendly family-owned pub with accommodation, situated in the village of Clayton, in the South Downs near Hassocks. Named after the two famous windmills which overlook the village, guests will find comfortable bedrooms, a wide selection of drinks, home cooked food, garden area and ample parking for cars.

All of the guest rooms are equipped with en suite shower rooms, a TV and beverage tray for making tea and coffee. Single, double and twin rooms are available, with a cooked breakfast served in the morning. Packed lunches are also available by arrangement. Our accommodation is popular with tourists, walkers and cyclists.

The pub stocks a range of real ales including those produced locally, that can be enjoyed in the traditional bar or outside in the 2 garden areas. All food is fresh and made with local seasonal ingredients, including those from the pub’s own garden. Families are welcome, and we provide children’s menus and a play area.
