Castle Hill Barn

Castle Hill Barn is a beautifully-converted 18th century barn offering self-catering accommodation in the small hamlet of Compton Scorpion near Shipston-on-Stour. Nestled on the fringes of the Cotswolds and surrounded by the open fields and countryside of the Stour Valley, it provides an idyllic setting for a holiday.

Sleeping up to 5 guests, the barn comprises a comfortable lounge area with sofas, television and a dining table / chairs. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, a king size bedroom, single bedroom and a flexible bedroom which can be arranged with a super king bed or twin beds. Outside is a seating area and parking.

The nearest village is Ilmington which has 2 local pubs and a children’s play area. National Trust Hidcote and Stratford-upon-Avon are within driving distance and there are many scenic walks and cycling routes around the Cotswolds’ rolling hills, which are full of chocolate box villages and winding country lanes.
