Blue Anchor Hotel

Welcome to The Blue Anchor, an early 18th century inn situated in the Lancashire village of Bolton-le-Sands which lies on the shores of Morecambe Bay. The oldest pub in the village, visitors enjoy home cooked food, a friendly bar and comfortable guest room accommodation. Family-friendly, dogs are also welcome.

The bar serves a wide range of drinks from real ales to fine gins, and serves a traditional menu of British pub classic meals and freshly made pizzas. Regular live entertainment is available throughout the week at the inn and the large beer garden outside has access to the bar and the barbeque is often fired up during the summer months. The bedrooms are comfortable and all guests staying overnight enjoy a complimentary breakfast.

Bolton-le-Sands is located about 1.5 miles from the town of Carnforth. The village has superb views over Morecambe bay, the Furness coastline and Lake District fells. The Lancaster Canal, constructed in the 1790s, passes through the village and provides towpaths for walking. The village has a host of amenities and Morecambe Golf Club is just over a mile away.
