The Old Brick Kilns is an AA 5-Pennant Platinum Campsite, also with self-catering cottages and B & B guest rooms, in the Norfolk village of Barney, just 8 miles from the sea. This 13-acre park with well-kept grounds and fishing, boasts David Bellamy Gold Conservation, Honey-Bee Friendly Park, Wildflower and Hedgerow Awards.

The site has 2 tent fields; one with electric and the other without. There are hardstanding and super pitches for motorhomes and caravans, Heydon’s Meadow for Caravan Club members and an adult-only area. The 4 washrooms are clean and spacious with underfloor heating. There is also a newly-built facility for families and disabled guests.

The 3 Paddocks Cottages and 3 barn conversions (all sleeping 4 or 6 guests), and the wheelchair-friendly 1-bedroomed Kiln Barn, provide excellent self-catering accommodation. The B & B bedrooms, in the main house on the park, comprise 3 rooms (x1 double, x1 twin, x1 single) with en suite facilities. There is also a dining room and living room area.

Facilities at The Old Brick Kilns include fishing on the lake, a games room and play area for younger guests. Barney’s Bar provides a relaxing space with a good selection of drinks, including locally-made gins and ales, plus a menu of take-away food. The bar also has an outdoor terrace area for al fresco drinks. Please visit the website for more information.
