Tan House Camping

Tan House Farm in Longtown is a working sheep farm offering a bed and breakfast room and campsite, on the edge of the Black Mountains, 11 miles from Hay-on-Wye and 15 miles from Hereford. Surrounded by 70 acres, there is also fishing on the river which flows through the farm.

The campsite is dog-friendly and there are showers, toilets and fresh water provided. Fishing on the river can be arranged. There is an inn in the village which serves food, plus a farm shop with a post office. Close to the circular Cat’s Back hiking route, the area is a paradise for walkers with surrounding unspoilt countryside including the famous Offa's Dyke Path and the Black Mountains.
