Half Moon Hotel

The Half Moon Hotel is located in the village of Llanthony, in the Vale of Ewyas within the Black Mountains, north of Abergavenny and in the east of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Originally built as workmen’s cottages in the 18th century, these properties are now a friendly country inn with guest accommodation.

The bedrooms are comfortably furnished with a choice of single, double, twin-bedded and family rooms. All have an in-room wash basin and refreshment tray; with access to the shared shower rooms. Travel cots can be provided for infants, and dogs are allowed. A hearty cooked Welsh breakfast is included in overnight stays.

The restaurant and bar are open throughout the day providing home cooked meals from a classic British menu, with options for children, plus a selection of local ales. This traditional Welsh Inn has a natural flagstone floor, a log fire on cold days and cosy seating areas. Outside, there are wonderful views, picnic benches and parking.
