Penylan Farm

Penylan Farm Cottages are 3 superb holiday homes located in a scenic hilltop setting, between the towns of Monmouth and Abergavenny. Ideally placed for couples, families or groups, each one is furnished to a high standard, whilst retaining traditional features such as exposed oak wooden trusses. They also provide far-reaching views of the Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. Owners Cathy and Dave provide a warm welcome.

The cottages are set around a pretty courtyard and all feature an adjoining south-facing outside patio area. A welcome basket is provided. Each property has a comfortable living space, well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, luxury bath / shower room facilities, quality bedlinen, underfloor heating, flat screen TV, DVD player and high-speed Wifi access. Dogs are allowed in The Mill and Beili Stable whereas Ciderhouse is dog-free.

The Mill is an upside-down cottage for 2, with a downstairs king size en suite bedroom opening to a sunken patio. Beili Stable is a ground floor barn conversion sleeping 4, with a king size bedroom and a twin room, both with en suite facilities. Ciderhouse is the largest, converted from the 19th century cart shed. Sleeping 7, this cottage has a triple en suite bedroom and a twin room downstairs, plus a twin room in the converted attic.
