The Bowl Inn Charing

Welcome to The Bowl Inn, a traditional country inn dating back to the 16th century. Visitors will find good food, a friendly well-stocked bar and recently refurbished guest bedrooms. Within the Kent Downs, near the village of Charing, the inn is only 9 miles north-west of Ashford and also close to the North Downs Way for walkers.

The 9 guest bedrooms are furnished in a contemporary style in keeping with the original architectural features of the building. There are double, twin, 4-poster, queen rooms with balcony and 2 pet-friendly ground floor rooms opening onto their own garden area. All have luxury en suite facilities with either a bath, shower or both.

Breakfast is served to both resident and non-resident guests, with an extensive menu that includes The Bowl’s Full English, vegetarian breakfast, kippers and smoked salmon. Lunch, dinner and Sunday lunches are also served and there is a separate menu for vegan and gluten-free diners. Outside, is a garden and ample car parking.
