Ellerbrook House is a friendly, family-run bed and breakfast in Windermere town. This attractive Victorian townhouse, built from Lakeland stone, is found in a quiet residential area within a few minutes' walk from shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. The B & B is also just a 15-minute walk from Lake Windermere.
Owners Becky and Rob provide a warm welcome. Bedrooms are spacious, furnished to a high standard and include a Smart TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There are double en suite rooms, and a large triple on the second floor with a double, single bed and private shower room. This room can also be used as a twin.
A tasty Lakeland breakfast is served in the dining room in the morning, with special diets happily accommodated with prior notice. Owner Becky is particularly knowledgeable about gluten-free alternatives. There is free on-street parking available. The railway station is within a short walk, as is the start of The Dales Way Trail.
