Queens Head Inn

In the village of Tirril, on the north-eastern edge of the Lake District National Park, the Queen’s Head Inn is a traditional 18th century pub with guest rooms. Near Ullswater, just south of Penrith and within easy reach of transport links, including the M6 motorway, this is a convenient and comfortable place to stay for visitors to the area.

There are 7 double and twin bedrooms, each with en suite facilities, TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and refreshment tray, with a complimentary breakfast served in the morning. All of the rooms are dog-friendly. The inn has a car park, with motorhomes and campervans allowed to park overnight, with an optional breakfast available too.

Dating back to the early 18th century, the bar features log fires, crooked stone walls, exposed beams and original flagstone floors. There is a front garden and covered heated outdoor terrace.
