Wanslea Bed & Breakfast

Wanslea Bed and Breakfast is situated in the foothills of Wansfell in Ambleside. A welcoming place to stay for hikers, climbers and tourists, the house is within walking distance to the shores of Lake Windermere and the town centre. Guests will find uniquely-themed bedrooms and wonderful hospitality from owners Tina and Steve.

There are standard rooms with either single, twin or double beds; premier rooms with king-size beds and the two beautifully-decorated themed rooms, The Arabian Room and The Africa Room, with bespoke décor and spa baths in the en suite bathrooms. All rooms have en suite facilities, TV with Freeview, Wifi and refreshment tray.

A full English breakfast is served in the morning, with lighter options also provided. There is on-site car parking, although there are many footpaths and hiking trails leading from the local area for those arriving on foot. Cruises are available from Waterhead Pier.
